Google Trends is a useful free tool that provides statistics and other information about the popularity of specific search terms on Google and YouTube. There are many reasons why it has become a popular source of big data research and applications, especially because it provides a platform to observe consumer search information by providing extensive search data statistics. Even better, Google Trends is easy to use, not only in terms of data collection, but also when it comes to providing comparison options.
Searching specifically for certain products/services is a persuasive indicator that users may also purchase these products/services. There is a proven correlation between consumers’ willingness to browse the Internet and purchase behavior.
